Koline is basically an event when a pig is slaughtered. However, koline is also a name for different types of sausages,
which are a part of the dish called koline. Caterers in Prekmurje also give the name koline to an event when they
have koline on their menu for a few days. In fact, it is not so complicated; Koline is a dish consisting of krvavica (black
pudding), millet koline (millet sausage), buckwheat koline (buckwheat sausage), roast pork or roasted ribs, and bujta
repa (sour turnip hot pot) served as a side dish on the same plate or in a separate bowl.
